Funscrubsinc.com

This is a blog of anyone who wears medical scrubs to work...our mission is to help rid people of unfun scrubs and discover the joy of wearing funscrubs to work. It's also a way for nurses and others who work in health care to connect and talk about life. I'm a new blogger and not a techie so feel free to help me out as we go.

Fellow Nurses...Help me sell my scrubs!!

Nursing really didn't prepare me for starting a small business. Deb, my partner, and sis in law has the production of our scrubs figured out, I have learned what nurses like and want. But HOW do we get our name out there so people find our scrubs and order them on-line...

Any nurses out there who have started your own web based business have any ideas?

Check out our website, refer your friends and co-workers too! www.funscrubsinc.com

I'm open for suggestions---

Fleece Lined Surgical Scrub Jackets

Hi,

I'm wondering how many of you have been looking for a warm, comfortable fleece-lined scrub jacket? It can be so cold in the surgical areas... I know that there are some out there, but I've had requests to start making them in Funscrubs. Any suggestions??

Let me know what you think. We use our customer feedback to decide what products to develop next, and what features people would like to see included in the design.

Stay warm!!

Free Spring Scrub Makeover

Funscrubs is announcing it's first every unfunscrub makeover contest. Post a picture of you in your most unfun scrubs and let us know why you want/need a spring scrub makeover. We'll pick the winner on April 1st...don't let the April Fools thing bother you.

Funscrubs is on the Road Again...

Deb and I were at Minnesota Community Technical College all day yesterday with our funscrubs. We met lots of great nursing students, other vendors and nurses and recruiters for lots of different hospitals. I had no idea what a nice facility they have at MCTC. We sold a lot of scrubs to people who loved how they looked and felt. Lots of people walked up and said, "Wow, fun scrubs!!"

Deb will be in Wisconsin on Tuesday at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. We haven't had our scrubs there yet, so we hope they like them too!

In the next few months we'll be in Madison, WI, the Wisconsin Dells, and at several conferences in the Twin Cities Metro area.

We don't have a store front, so we go to conferences to show our scrubs and tell people about our website www.funscrubsinc.com.

Check it out!!

See you!
